The device for application of a thin decorative strip onto a flat or uneven wall type surface, is constructed such that the strip (10) is fed from a storage or supply roll (8) over a painting or applicator roller (7). This is soaked or saturated in a thick or fluid binder material. The applicator roller (7) is used to apply the binder soaked material strip (10) to the wall surface (15) in a rotating action. Both the applicator roller (7) and the storage roller (8) are mounted as arms on the main shaft of the device.
