<p>Apparatus for forming on the underside of a concrete floor, a pattern of hollow squares during pouring the cement, employs a framework of vertical supports mounted on wheels, carrying a horizontal framework of girders which carry in turn a pattern of square cup shaped moulds over which the concrete is poured, so that a pattern results on the underside when the concrete has set. The wheels of the apparatus can be raised and lowered for transport. These moulds (18) are supported by members (20) which can be tensioned to hold the moulds, during pouring, then the tension released for removal while the concrete is setting. Each member (20) carries a tongue (22) which engages a slot in the side of the mould when the member is moved sideways by a swinging catch (24) at the other end, while ribs (21) on the underside wedge into the mould and lock it.</p> |
