摘要 <p>1447557 Preparing Cu/Al alloy by leaching NALCO CHEMICAL CO 10 Dec 1973 [19 Oct 1973] 57166/73 Heading C7D [Also in Division C2] A Raney copper catalyst comprising 2 to 45% by weight aluminium the balance being copper is prepared by adding aqueous caustic solution, or any other water-soluble base to copper-aluminium alloy particles having a Cu/Al weight ratio between 70:30 and 30:70 gradually over a period of 2 to 30 hours at temperatures between 0 and 100‹F. Preferably the starting material and product particle sizes range from 0.001 to 0.5 inches. The product is washed and stored under water, and is particularly suited to use as a catalyst in the hydrolysis of acrylonitrile to form a acrylamide see Division (C2).</p>
