Gas turbine plant with closed and open cycles - exhaust from open cycle is utilised to ignite fuel in closed cycle

The open cycle turbine plant has a two stage compressor (1, 2) with in between cooling (5) a combustion chamber (6) and a turbine (3) turning the generator (4). An additional heat exchanger (20) is fitted between the second stage output (D) and the combustion chamber and connected to the closed cycle flue (19). The closed cycle turbine plant (17) contains a steam boiler (19) connected to the open cycle gas turbine exhaust (F). The steam boiler has no burners, the hot exhaust gases, which contain surplus oxygen sufficient to ignite the fuel injected to the boiler.
