The hydropneumatic accumulator comprises a body in two parts and of stiff material, containing an elastic partition between gas and liquid chambers. On the side of the partition towards the gas chamber there are one or more secondary partitions of material virtually impermeable to gas and without elasticity. The elastic partition (19) is a diaphragm extensible only slightly in service, and is gripped along its edge, together with secondary partition (22) between an internal bead (15) on one of the body parts and a central ring (17) on the other one, protruding inside the body. The outer diaphragm edge has a sealing lip (23) bearing against the part of the body carrying the ring.
