PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molten carbonate fuel cell which is stable and high in performance for a long period. SOLUTION: In a molten carbonate fuel cell having an electrolyte plate 13 which holds an electrolyte made of an alkali carbonate, and a pair of electrodes arranged so as to face the electrolyte plate 13, made of a porous body for having reaction gas diffused and supplied to the electrolyte plate, and the electrodes are etched with acid to make the surface rough. |
