PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a demodulator with a small circuit scale and high phase estimate accuracy regardless of a short preamble. SOLUTION: The demodulator is provided with a carrier phase estimate means 5a that integrates a base band complex signal of an input signal whose amplitude is limited to be a prescribed amplitude and conducts correlation calculation by using signals with a prescribed value or over or estimates a carrier phase of the input signal with a correlation signal of a prescribed value or over based on the result of correlation calculation and provides an output of the correlation signal of the estimated carrier, a carrier recovery means 6a that recovers a carrier with a base band complex signal to estimate and output the carrier phase, and a timing recovery means 8a that uses the carrier phase estimate signal of the output of the carrier phase estimate means to generate a timing for data detection or obtains a timing of the demodulator by the feedback type phase control. |
