A switching element is moved from a rest position to a tensioned position by a winding element moved against a spring pressure from its initial position to the end position. When the winding element is released and returns to its rest position, the switching element, driven by its spring, hits a cam on the fitting and moves it to its next position. The winding element resetting spring transmits the switching force to the switching element for the flashlight fitting drive. In this way the next flash cube is correctly positioned to take the next photograph.
