The bottom of the composite plant pot has a sloping-sided recess (3) with radial slits (4). The inner support deck (3) has small perforations (5). The base of the pot has an upper rim (8) which fits under a ledge on the sides of the main container (1). Around the upper rim (8) of the base (6), four holes (9) are drilled. Eyebolts (10) each with an eyelet (11) are screwed into the holes (9) and secured by a nut (12) at the bottom. The top of the pot is sealed by a lid (13) in two halves (13a, 13b) with a centre hole (14). The rim of the hole turns upwards and the hole is surrounded by ventilation holes (15). A vertical filler-tube (16) is connected to the space (7) between the double-floors. A vertical funnelled pipe (17) leads to the filler-tube (16).
