PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To return to an original state by storing a control program to be rewritten in a recording medium as back up before it is rewritten so as to introduce the backed-up control program from the recording medium again when something inconvenient happens after rewriting. SOLUTION: A user inserts a recording medium 4 into a storing device and gives an instruction to write the contents of an EEPROM 1 in the idle area of the medium 4 by operation from an operator panel 3. A processor part 8 receiving the instruction writes the contents of the EEPROM 1 in the space area of the medium 4 as back up by the unique format of a control program based on a program stored in the EEPROM 1 of a control program part 7. After writing, the part 8 shifts control to a program stored in a ROM 2 and starts writing the contents of the EEPROM 1 stored in the introduced medium into the EEPROM 1.
