PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an easily visually observable display state by highlighting a screen of a maximum, a minimum of each frequency point detected and stored from spectral data corresponding to a specific number of times updated by obtaining a specific number of segments from a signal to be measured. SOLUTION: It is assumed that the number of times of accumulations cumulatively displayed is M and the frequency span segment is N. A waveform data storage unit 40 inputs measured data 30S of N words at each sweeping to be output upon receiving of a signal Si to be measured by a sweep deciding unit 30, updates and stores unnecessary data. A maximum value data memory 82 and a minimum value data memory 84 respectively store a maximum value and a minimum value of N words corresponding to a frequency point of N points, and are reset in a predetermined system. A maximum value and minimum value calculator 70 detects a maximum value, a minimum value of M pieces of data at one frequency point, and respectively stores them in the memories 82, 84. A display data storage memory 60 inputs dot display data 50m obtained by converting the data from the memories 82, 84 by a display data converter 50, and highlights the data with a different color or the like.
