Small antitank mines with sensor systems - are projected from warhead to cover wide area to act on tank hulls

The antitank mines are projected into target area from a missile warhead. These mines drop on the ground in correct orientation where they respond to earth magnetic field changes and to impact. A mine of this kind has small size with hollow or flat charge effect for penetrating tank hulls from below. Although the mine is not capable of breaking tank tracks its small size ensures high hitting probability because larger numbers of these mines can be scattered in the target area. The fuse system has a battery, logic circuit and amplifier. Additional sensors are used for neutralising or for self-destruction of mines after set time. The mine is self-destroyed when the voltage of the battery falls below a certain value. The fuse system is temporarily blocked to ensure that the mine does not detonate in the case of very hard impacts such as adjacent explosions.
