<p>This adjustable watch strap fastener has a base hook (6) on the free end of the strap, which hooks into an opening (2) in one of the members (1) at the opposite end of the strap. The base hook (6) is covered by a flap (7) which is fitted to the strap at a hinge (11). The cover flap (7) is extended at the rear to form a second hook (8). When the flap is pressed down the second hook passes through a window (9) in the base hook (6) into the opening (2) in a second strap (1). The cover flap (7) is held in place, when locked, by a cam device (12) on the side walls of the base plate (6) which presses against the side walls of the cover plate (7). This method produces a secure fastening which at the same time gives the appearance of a continuous strap.</p> |
