<p>A floor plate consists of a panel of building material which can be cast and hardened off, such as asphalt, and is provided with a reinforcement extending into the upper edge of the plate. The floor plate may be provided with a wearing surface and the reinforcement may be of steel mesh, woven polyester, etc. Cheaper than concrete plates, but fully capable of standing up to all the demands made upon it.</p> |
