<p>The castor assembly consists of a housing to support the roller (10), the housing having a vertical pivot (4) and support plates (16), and carried by the shaft of the roller. The roller shaft passes through openings in the plates, and the roller has a braking surface and a braking device. The control plates (32) for the brake can be displaced, pivoting at one end and controlled in their movement by slots (34) through which goes the roller shaft (11). At one end of the brake control plates are levers (38). A rod (40) forms the brake surface and forms a stop for the lever (38) of the control plate (32).</p> |
