The sealed packing container is of plastic of relatively high stiffness, shaped by heating and preferably transparent, having two dish sections hinging together at one side and with joining flanges at the other. The flanges are secured together (4) by one or more press-studs (5a, 5b) passing through both. Each stud can have a large-area head and a central shank, the free end of which is of increased diameter. The shank can be cylindrical and the free end of ball or cone shape. The flanges can be pre-drilled to take the studs, the hole diameter being less than that of the shank free end. |
