The curtain pelmet is fixed to the board (1) by the angle brackets (7). The vertical surfaces of the pelmet are made from a number of standard segments (3) with a horizontal slot on their inner surfaces. These slots fit over a support rail (2) so that the segments form a continuous strip. Each segment (3) has a groove (11) in one vertical edge and a corresponding tongue (12) along the opposite edge. These features lock adjacent segments together. The corner segments fit into a round bar (16) with a special key (18). By building the pelmet from separate segments they can be made to suit window frames of a wide range of sizes.
