<p>PURPOSE:To equivalently realize the simultaneity to an observation time by electronizing the scanning in an elevation direction and performing elevation angle scanning at random. CONSTITUTION:The phase control data of the individual element of an array antenna is formed in an elevation angle beam controller 9 and applied to each element. The random scanning shown by an elevation angle 7 is performed by generating elevation angle data random timewise from a random signal generator 10 and, for example, immediately after the max. elevation angle, the angle is changed to the min. elevation angle according to circumstances. Therefore, by synthesizing the observation results of those elevation angles after a definite time, the whole of vertical echo distribution can be equivalently observed with simultaneity and, when a certain time zone is taken, as a result, the observation equivalent to the uniform scanning of a predetermined elevation angle range can be obtained.</p> |
