摘要 In one embodiment, a method comprises establishing, by a first network device in a mesh network, a first connection with a second network device according to a prescribed discovery operation of a first link layer access protocol; advertising via the first connection, by the first network device to the second network device, link layer parameters used by the first network device to establish a second connection according to a second link layer access protocol; and the first network device minimizing a corresponding discovery operation of the second link layer access protocol during establishment of the second connection with the second network device, based on the link layer parameters advertised by the first network device to the second network device.
