PURPOSE:To obtain the title molding suitable for cold preserving warehouse, etc., having excellent heat resistance, etc., by using polyurethane foam coated with a specific polymer as a core, injecting a metathesis polymerizable monomer and methathesis polymerization catalyst system to a mold, polymerizing and molding. CONSTITUTION:Polyurethane foam coated with a polymer (e.g. polystyrene) which does not inhibit metathesis polymerization and is not dissolved in a metathesis polymerizable monomer till starting of polymerization is set in a mold, a metathesis polymerizable monomer (preferably dicyclopentadiene) and a methathesis polymerization catalyst system (preferably tungesten hexachloride) are injected to the mold and the monomer is polymerized and molded to give the objective molded article having excellent physical properties, appearance, chemical resistance, impact resistance, etc. |
