PURPOSE:To improve the vibration-damping properties by compounding a resin component comprising a polyalkylene terephthalate resin and a liq. crystalline polyester resin and/or an acrylic resin with a specific glass fiber. CONSTITUTION:An alkylene glycol is polycondensed with (a lower alcohol ester of) terephthalic acid to give a polyalkylene terephthalate resin. A resin component is prepd. by compounding 60-97wt.% of the polyalkylene terephthalate resin with 40-3wt.% liq. crystalline polyester, pref. liq. crystalline arom. polyester (amide), having a wt.-average mol.wt. of 2000-200000 and/or acrylic resin, pref. (meth)acrylic ester (co)polymer. The resin component is compounded with 5-60wt.% glass fiber of which a cross section perpendicular to the longitudinal direction is of a flattened shape having the ratio of the major diameter to the minor diameter of 1.5-5. |
