High-frequency induction butt welding of - tube ends

Machine comprises a bed with tube clamps, one fixed and one movable, with an inductor between them, and a stop movable transverse to the line of the tube to position the pieces brought up to the inductor by a gripper. The stop has a movable element which actuates the gripper and feed of the tube lengths to the inductor. The machine includes components for setting a clearance at the joint and upsetting of it, as well as for feeding protective gas to the welding zone.
