PURPOSE:To improve an operational quality so as to surely convey various paper forms by enabling a movable guide plate to open a conveying path, in a condition that a conveying unit is drawn out, and disabling the movable guide plate from opening the conveying path when the conveying unit is pressed in and placed in a conveyable condition. CONSTITUTION:Since a fixed rail member 162 is not provided below an open/ close guide plate 146 in a condition that a unit casing 101 is drawn out from a copying machine main unit, the open/close guide plate 146 can be swivel- opened to process a paper jam in a conveying path by opening the plate 146. After completion of processing the jam, the unit casing 101 is pressed in the copying machine main unit, and in a condition that the unit 101 is pressed in and stopped, a protruding part 146C of the open/close guide plate 146 touches an upper plane part 162G of a fixed rail member 162 to restrict swiveling the guide plate 146 with its opening made impossible. Accordingly in this condition, the open/close guide plate 146 is position-restricted and prevented from swiveling by external force, and a paper form can be fed by holding the paper form conveying path in a predetermined space. |
