PROTOCOL FOR TRANSFERRING DMA DATA

摘要

PURPOSE: To prevent a computer system from being disabled to operate by providing respective overlapped processing systems for plural zones. CONSTITUTION: A fault allowable computer system 10 is provided with an overlapping system called a zone and at the time of a normal mode, two zones 11 and 11' are operated at the same time. According to this overlapping, a fault is not generated at one point so that it is secured that the computer system 10 is not disabled though an error or a fault is generated in one of the zones 11 and 11'. In addition these faults can be removed by disabling or ignoring a device or a constituting element generating this fault. Then the zones 11 and 11' are respectively provided with overlapping systems 20 and 20'. Therefore the overlapping processing systems operates more than a processing system to prevent the computer system from being disabled to operate.
