PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reliable power supply that does not shut down as a whole even if any short-circuit fault occurs in the power supply circuit unit and does not malfunction and is operable even if a replacement power supply circuit unit is inserted during power supply operation. SOLUTION: A constant current circuit 24 is placed in the input stage of auxiliary power supply supplied from outside a power supply circuit unit in order to control output current within specified values. As a result, even if the line of auxiliary power supply VAUX2 is short-circuited within the power supply circuit unit, the line of an original auxiliary power supply VAUX is not influenced by the short circuit and the power supply is capable of continuing operation as power supply. When a replacement power supply unit is inserted during power supply operation, abrupt charge current is prevented from being passed through an electrolytic capacitor C1 in the power supply circuit unit. |
