PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small cable signal detector, capable of suppressing an incorrect extraction of a communication cable by displaying the presence or absence of information communication, enabling the use of a general-purpose communication cable with a reduced deterioration of an electric signal to be transmitted.SOLUTION: A cable signal detector which detects the presence or absence of information communication through a communication cable 2 includes: a rectifier circuit 3, connected in series to the communication cable 2, which outputs a branched part of signals transmitted through the communication cable 2 which is extracted and rectified to a direct current; and a light-emitting circuit 4 which emits light by an output from the rectifier circuit 3. The rectifier circuit 3 is composed of a plurality of half-wave rectifier circuits or full-wave rectifier circuits (sub-rectifier circuits 9) connected in parallel.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
