PURPOSE:To decrease generation of noise and distortion of a voice signal and to reduce deterioration in the sound quality by amplifying a signal of an audio intermediate frequency and allowing the signal to radiate from an antenna circuit. CONSTITUTION:A channel designated by a channel selection control section 12 is selected from an inputted TV broadcast signal 10 and a video detection circuit 14 converts the signal into a prescribed intermediate frequency signal. The circuit 14 detects the frequency signal and inputs the result to an intermediate video amplifier circuit 15 and extracts an audio intermediate frequency signal 16, which is inputted to an audio discrimination circuit 17. Part of the signal 16 is given to an amplifier circuit 23, where the signal is amplified and an electromagnetic wave 25 radiates from an antenna circuit 24 arranged in front of a television receiver. A receiver 26 receives the electromagnetic wave 25 radiating from the circuit 24, receives, amplifies and demodulates to drive an earphone 27. Thus, distortion or noise of the audio signal is reduced and the deterioration in the audio quality is decreased. Moreover, an infrared ray signal may be used in place of the electromagnetic wave 25. |
