PURPOSE:To highly treat org. waste water by compact installation using a reduced amount of a chemical agent by successively providing an oxidation reaction tank, a neutralization and flocculation tank, a floc flotation tank, a pressure water injection apparatus and a scum scraper. CONSTITUTION:An org. waste water treatment apparatus is constituted by successively providing an oxidation reaction tank, a neutralization and flocculation tank, a floc flotation tank, a pressure water injection tank and a scum scraper. In treating org. waste water by this treatment apparatus, at first, the org. waste water is introduced into the oxidation reaction tank and hydrogen peroxide, a ferrous salt and an acid are added thereto to subject org. matter to oxidative decomposition in an acidic state. Next, alkali is added to the waste water in the neutralization and flocculation tank to neutralize the same and suspended matter is flocculated with iron hydroxide. The waste water is guided to the floc flotation tank and pressure water is injected in the tank from the bottom thereof to float flocs which are, in turn, removed by the scum scraper and treated water is discharged. |
