PURPOSE:To form a high-definition visible image by carrying the sufficiently electrified nonmagnetic toner of a necessary quantity on a toner carrier. CONSTITUTION:When toner 4 is supplied to a developing roller 5 by a toner supplying roller 6, the toner 4 is triboelectrified to a prescribed polarity, for instance, a positive polarity reverse to the polarity of the electrostatic latent image of the photosensitive body 1, and electrostatically stuck to the periphery of the developing roller 5 to be carried on the developing roller 5. At this time, the face of the a conductive roller 10 has ruggedness, and a dieletric layer 11 is laminated thereon, so that the thickness of the dielectric layer 11 is made different corresponding to fine ruggedness. Thus, a large amount of the sufficiently electrified non-magnetic toner 4 is carried on the toner carrier, and to a developing region, so that a high-definition recording image can be formed. |
