PURPOSE:To secure the safety of a received article and to reduce labor required for business by providing a cabinet device equipped with an electric lock with an operation section, a display means, a memory means and a control means, and utilizing a card to keep the received article and to manage its lending. CONSTITUTION:When an IC card 12 is inserted into an IC card reader-writer 14, which reads out the memory information of the IC card 12 to transfer it to a control circuit 17 for comparing it with the information of a memory circuit 18, and requires the inputting of its keymemory number when it is utilizable. An operation section 13 then inputs the keymemory number to compare it with a number stored in the IC card 12, and selects a receiving box when both the numbers coincide, and issues a lock releasing command to an electric lock 21 of a box door. The door lock is then released, and the release of the lock is informed to the control circuit 17 to determine the timing of the lock releasing command. When the door is closed, the information of a door contacting point 20 is transferred to the control circuit, and a lock locking command is thereby issued to the electric lock 21 to turn the door of the receiving box into a locked state. |
