<p>PURPOSE: To adjust the ring gap of inner and outer die lips by coupling a combinational assembly with a pressure pump through a pressure medium hose while extending over the hose cutting position of a rotary cutter. CONSTITUTION: The die 2 of an extruder 1 has inner and outer die tips 3, 4 and a lip ring die 20 is formed between. Flange parts 16, 17 adjust the extrusion material flow-out path in the die gap. An extruder 1 mixes a plastic material, an expansion agent, a blowing agent and a foamable mixture uniformly and foaming takes place at the time of extrusion from the ring gap 20. A hose- shaped foam extrusion molding 9 is drawn out while exceeding over a cooling core metal 10, cut open by a cutter 12 and wound into a roll product for stocking. The ring body 18 has a through hole 19 for pressure hose 11 and a pressure action medium is fed, as required, from a pump 15 through the hose 11 into the inner chamber of an adjusting coupling assembly 5 where it is pressurized or drawn out thus completing a hose-shape of various thickness in the range of 0.5-12 mm.</p> |
