Data for the pattern wheels of a circular machine are arranged in two series of corresponding groups disposed side-by-side along two tracks of an endless pattern band. One series contains successive groups controlling half the wheels during one pattern row, the other controls the following wheels. Succeeding pairs of series correspond to subsequent rows. The band engages and is withdrawn from the machine between the last wheel of the first half and the first of the second half. |
