MELTING FURNACE A furnace for melting metals comprises a refractory-li-ned shell, a crucible, a partition dividing the crucible into a melting chamber and an accumulating chamber intercommunicating with each other. Mounted inside the melting chamber are an intermediate receptacle having a perforated bottom and a charge feeding port, and a pump-heater with an outlet metal conduit introduced into the intermediate receptacle. Provided in the accumulating chamber are metal delivery pumps in the form of pump-heaters.
