PURPOSE:To permit switching passages in a narrow space by installing a return passage directly under a going passage and returning conveyance flat carts in the inverted state, in a line-shaft driving type transfer apparatus. CONSTITUTION:When a line shaft 4 is turned in the direction of arrow 31, a conveyance flat car 3 on a going passage 1 advances in the direction of arrow 32 by a carrying roller 8 inclined by 45 degrees for the shaft 4. When the flat car 3 transfers onto the guide rail 12 of a passage switching means 10 at the terminal of the going passage 1, the flat car 3 is stopped by a stopping means not shown in the figure. Then, a rotary frame 11 is turned by 180 degrees by a motor 16, and the guide rail 12 is connected to the guide rail 6 on the return passage 2. Since the flat car 3 is set in the inverted state through the above-mentioned operation, if a stopping means is released, the flat car 3 in the inverted state is return 35 through the return passage directly under the going passage 1 by a driven roller 8. With such a constitution, switching of the transfer passages is permitted in a narrow space by installing the going and return passages. |
