A setting-up device for forming stall places 1,1' for animals has a partitioning apparatus 2 having a shoulder support 5,6 for limiting the movements of the animals in the direction of a feed table 4. A trapping apparatus has for each stall location a support 14, which is pivotably disposed on the partitioning apparatus 2 between a position essentially parallel thereto and a position essentially perpendicular thereto. The support 14 includes trapping members 15,16, at least one of which is movable for the purpose of securing the animals when the supports 14 are swivelled into a position parallel to the partitioning apparatus 2. When the supports 14 are swivelled into a position essentially perpendicular to the partitioning apparatus 2, they serve as boundaries of the feed table 4 transversely to its longitudinal direction. <IMAGE> |
