<p>Emergency cut-off device for a treadmill comprises a strap (30) attached to a cable (25) having at one end a contact part (20) consisting of a housing containing a magnet. The treadmill has a control panel (10) with a support surface (11) arranged above a ferromagnetic element with a passage. A pin guide, in which an actuating pin is movably guided, extends through the passage. The actuating pin is pressed down against a spring force by the contact part when the contact part is placed on the support surface. A switch for emergency cut-off of the treadmill is arranged within the control panel and is actuated by the actuating pin so that the emergency cut-off device is triggered when the actuating pin is not pressed down.</p> |
