PURPOSE:To input accurately by inputting a position to be input with a light emitting means when a destination or through points on the way to the destination is input. CONSTITUTION:A GPS (global positioning system) receiver 8 demodulates the electric wave from an artificial satellite, which is received by an antenna 1, to compute a travelling position (longitude, latitude, altitude, etc.) of a user. The information thereof is sent to a MPU (microprocessor) 10 inside of a computing board 9 per about one second. The MPU 10 collates the information sent from the receiver 8 with the map data memorized in a ROM 11, and performs computing of a travelling position of a user on the map, computing of a lighting position of a light emitting unit 25 for displaying the travelling position or the like. Next, a MPU 16 of a display 3 lighten the light emitting unit 25 located in a gauge 4 on the basis of the information sent from the MPU 10. Input can be thereby performed easily and accurately. |
