PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drum type transmission mechanism capable of implementing a shifting motion while skipping a shift state according to a prescribed rotating position of a drum member, in addition to a shifting motion realizing a shift state according to a rotating position around an axis of a drum member.SOLUTION: A first guide groove has the groove shape to hold a first shift fork on a reference position when a drum member is positioned on rotating positions at both sides around an axis of a reference rotating position, and to permit the movement between the reference position and a displacement position of the first shift fork when it is positioned on the reference rotating position. A second guide groove has the groove shape to hold a second shift fork on a reference position when the drum member is positioned on a reference rotating position, and to hold the second shift fork on a displacement position when it is positioned on at least one side of the rotating positions at both sides. The first shift fork is constantly energized toward the displacement position by a first fork spring.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10 |
