PURPOSE:To obtain a soil conditioner having a lower sintering temperature and improved in the action of purifying water through adsorption, the generation of far infrared rays, water retentivity, drainage, air permeability, lightweightness, degradability, etc., by sintering a mixture of a hollow siliceous material with a sintering agent. CONSTITUTION:A sintering agent is incorporated into a hollow siliceous material having a particle diameter of 3-200mum, a specific gravity of 0.48 or lower, a melting point of 1,300 deg.C, a dielectric constant (120 deg.C) of 11.53, a specific magnetic susceptibility of 87.546X10<-6>cm<3>/g, and an exciting current of 2,500mA and consisting of 58.80-62.36% SiO2, at least 29.5-30.0% Al2O3, 3.0-3.5% Fe2O3, 3.25-3.30% K2O, 2.26-3.16% CaO, 1.4-1.8% TiO2, 1.26-1.95% MgO, and 0.55-0.75% Na2O. The mixture is baked at a desired temperature, for example, about 800 deg.C. |
