PURPOSE:To enhance the safety of an autoclave-sterilizing device by providing an additional safety step of issuing an alarm for indicating an error after a second control valve being opened when an incompletion in discharge or air or water is detected upon completion of a step of discharging air or water. CONSTITUTION:If the internal temperature T exceeds a comparison temperature T1 at a time t3 after completion of a step of discharging air or water, it is judged that the discharge of air or water is incomplete due to clogging or the like, and then the process jumps to a safety process, avoiding shifting into a drying step. During the safety step, first and second control valves V1, V2 are opened but a third valve 3 is held in a closed condition, and then an error indication is issued without turning on a second heater H2. Accordingly, if water or air discharge is incomplete, since saturated steam is discharged into a discharge container 8 by way of the second control valve V2, and then the error indication is issued, the worker observes this error indication, and opens an closing cover 3 after the internal temperature lowering to a sufficiently low value. Thereby a remedy for an error such as removal of foreign matter causing clogging of a water discharge pipe and so forth may be safely carried out. |
