1289959 Oxyalkylated amines FARBWERKE HOECHST AG 21 Oct 1970 [22 Oct 1969] 50015/70 Heading C3R [Also in Divisions D1-D2] The invention comprises oxyalkylation products of bis-(2-hydroxy-3-alkoxypropyl)-amines of the formula wherein R 1 and R 2 independently represent saturated or unsaturated C 4-24 aliphatic hydrocarbon radicals, R 3 represents hydrogen, hydroxyethyl or hydroxypropyl, and the said oxyalkylation product contains 10 to 150 units of alkylene oxide per molecule of amine. The carbon atoms of the R 1 and R 2 radicals may be optionally interrupted by oxygen atoms. Uses.-As levelling and after-treating agents in the dyeing of nitrogen-containing fibres with metal complex dyestuffs. |
