A gas boiler wherein a water sensor for transmitting a signal to a circulation pump is installed to sense the flow of direct water of a hot-water pipe when using hot water, converts a mechanical signal to an electrical signal, and transmits the signal to the circulation pump to stop the operation thereof and to cause the direct water to become hot water by receiving heat from the hot water, thereby enhancing thermal efficiency.
