PURPOSE:To offer a magnetostrictive material excellent in both magnetostrictive properties of the amt. of magnetostriction and impressing magnetic field respon siveness and, at the time of using it for a magnetomechanical displacement and conversion device, capable of realizing a small-sized and economic device free from the need an external bias magnetic field. CONSTITUTION:In this magnetostrictive material, because magnetostrictive allay powder and permanent magnet powder are integrated, a self-bias type magnetostrictive material free from the need of an external bias magnetic field can be manufactured. |
