PURPOSE:To improve a sensitivity, a resistance to chemicals, and the like by a method wherein cohesive particles obtained by mixing a dye precursor of a specific particle diameter, a color developer, and a sentitizer, which are dis persed by an anionic dispersing agent, with a microemulsion of a specific parti cle diameter are contained in microcapsules as a core substance. CONSTITUTION:A colorless or light-colored dye precursor having an average particle diameter of 0.5-1.0mum. a color developer, and a sentitizer, which are dispersed by an anionic dispersing agent, are made cohesive in combination with a microemulsion having an average particle diameter of 0.2mum or less to form a core substance. This core substance is contained in microcapsules to obtain a thermosensitive recording composition. As the microcapsuling method, a complex coacervation method, an in-situ method, and the like can be used. The obtained microcasules are difficult to break by an external pressure and not affected by an organic solvent and other chemicals even in a contact state, but have a superior effect in resistance to chemicals. |
