PURPOSE:To easily detect a specified address with small circuit scale. CONSTITUTION:An address decoder 30 for serial interface detects the specified address from composite address data for serial interface inserting line address data showing a horizontal line for each horizontal line at one part of sample address data showing the sample position of the horizontal line, and an inserting position instructing pulse Pi showing the inserted position of the line address data and composite address data CO are supplied to an address decoder 50. Corresponding to the inserting position instructing pulse Pi, a decode area is selected so as to detect the specified address (specified sample position of the specified line) only by the same decoder.
