PURPOSE:To provide a piezoelectric ceramic composition having high electro- mechanical coupling coefficient, small temperature dependence of dielectric constant, small crystal particle diameter, uniform composition and high and stable reliability and suitable as an ultrasonic vibrator utilizing vibration in radial direction. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition is composed of a principal composition expressed by the general formula Pb1-ABaA(ZrBTiC)O3 (B+C=1; 0.05<=A<=0.15; 1.01<=B/C<=1.07) and contains 0.05-0.20wt.% of MnO, 0.03-0.15wt.% of NiO and 0.02-0.08wt.% of Nb2O5 as subsidiary components. |
