PURPOSE:To detect easily the connecting and non-connecting state on a data transmission line, by monitoring the time of continuity of bits of an input data on the line. CONSTITUTION:When an FF1 is set and the receiving enable state is obtained, a counter 6 starts the count for a prescribed time T1. When a specific bit on the line is not consecutive in the time T1 for a prescribed number of times T0, an FF2 is set at the counter 6 and it is discriminated that the line is in the connecting state. When the specific bit on the line is consecutive in the time T1 for the prescribed number of times T0 or over, the counter 6 is reset with the output of a counter 5 counting the T0 before the time T1 is counted, the FF2 is not set, and it is discriminated that the line is in the non-connecting state. |
