A coil electrode pattern is located at one surface of a plate made of a dielectric material. The coil electrode pattern is in the form of a loop. Pick-up electrode pattern and earth connection (ground connection, earth terminal) pattern extend from the coil electrode pattern to an end section of the plate. The pick-up electrode pattern and the earth connection pattern are positioned at some distance and have a predetermined impedance. An earth electrode (earthing electrode) pattern is formed on the opposite section of the coil electrode pattern, with the plate in between. An earth connection pattern is formed on the earth electrode pattern. The earth connection pattern of the earth electrode pattern is connected to the earth connection pattern of the coil electrode pattern. A trimming electrode can be formed to adjust the resonance frequency (resonant frequency) of the resonator, if required. <IMAGE>
