The present invention relates to a composition for promoting activity of molds or actinomycetes among soil microorganisms including activated silica and chitin materials, and a method for removing or reducing bad smell using the composition. When the composition of the present invention is applied to an organic material fermentation place which generates bad smell, an environment is more optimized for living of molds and/or actinomycetes among soil microorganisms than that of anaerobic strains or aerobic strains, and thus these molds and/or actinomycetes are fermented without odor due to antibiotic activity against bad smell-generating strains to thus remove bad smell. In addition, the composition of the present invention produces a basic antibiotic substance, and thus has the effects of replacing various mineral materials, silicate fertilizers and chitosan fertilizers. The composition of the present invention may be used in animal breeding facilities such as pigpens and henhouses, compost facilities, feces-urine treatment plants, plants for treating various organic matters and wastewater, chicken processing houses, slaughterhouses, shell and fish processing plants, meat processing plants, landfill sites such as food waste processing sites, and crop cultivation farms for soil improvement and harmful insect prevention. In addition, it may be used as a feed additive for activating intestinal beneficial bacteria. |
