A dragging device comprises one or more rows of spacedly arranged drag feet 4 which are substantially rigid in at least the vertical direction and interconnected by a supporting structure 1, 2 and 3. The dragging feet may be arranged in two or more rows, and staggered so that the feet cover the whole width of the device. The feet may have pointed leading edges and may be tilted so that the leading edges are above the level of the trailing edges. In an embodiment, Fig. 3 (not shown) the feet are removably attached to the supporting beams and are adjustable both vertically and longitudinally of the length of the beam. In a further embodiment the feet are formed from a rectangular plate with the front corners turned up, the two halves of the front edge being welded together to form a point. Foliage spreaders may be attached to the noses of the drag feet which are formed from a rectangular plate, the corners at the front end of which are bent upwards and welded together. |
